This Metal Air Gap Drain Elbow Is Installed Under A 2 1/2 And 3 Inch Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly, Series 867, In Conjunction With The Model 867-Ag Air Gap To Catch Moderate Relief Valve Discharge Due To Pressure Fluctuations And/Or Minor Check Valve Fouling. This Drain Reduces The Amount Of Water Splashing In The Area Around Reduced Pressure Assemblies While Funneling Relief Valve Discharge Into The Drain.
