Detailed Description
The NIDEL Model 50H is a high-flow double-check backflow preventer designed to protect hose connections from backflow contamination in both freezing and non-freezing conditions. This device features two independent check valves and is ASSE 1052 approved. The unit includes a backflow preventer with molded rubber diaphragm check valves and a chrome-plated exterior finish. When a hose is removed, the valve automatically drains to allow water to exit the connection path. The field-testable design provides a method for verifying backflow protection performance. Applications include irrigation systems, outside hose bibbs, wash racks, dairy barns, and swimming pool areas.
